Strategic location
The Kyrgyz Republic is located in the heart of the Eurasian region, which allows it to have a strategic geographical location and access to external markets of neighboring countries. In particular, the republic reserves a territory between the Commonwealth of the Independent States and the Asia-Pacific Economic Community, being one of the main transit routes through the Central Asian corridor.

Visa-free regime
The Kyrgyz Republic creates favorable conditions for the development of tourism and active visiting of the country by foreign citizens. Thus, according to the latest amendments to the legislation, citizens of 71 countries have the opportunity to visit Kyrgyzstan without the need to obtain a visa.

Export performance
The main export destinations of the Kyrgyz Republic are the countries of CIS, EU, Middle East, and South-East Asia. The most exported goods of the Kyrgyz Republic except gold are women's clothing, agricultural products (cotton, dairy products, fruits and vegetables, honey) and glass:
Export-oriented policies
The Government of the Kyrgyz Republic approved the Program of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on Export Development of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2019-2022 years, approved by the Resolution of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic dated 20.12.2018.
According to the Program, the priority countries for exporting Kyrgyz products are the EU, the Persian Gulf, India, China, and Japan.
The priority sectors for the government are the sewing industry, the dairy industry, the processing of fruits and vegetables, and the green instrument-making industry.
